Position Summary

Provide clerical support to the Accounts Payable department to include a combination of duties such as answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties.
  • Obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining records.
  • Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices, or receiving signatures.
  • Obtain proper information or data regarding invoice payments.
  • Practice effective communication to confer with other personnel to explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
  • Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
  • Open, sort and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail.
Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related Accounts Payable experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (i.e., Word and Excel)

PREFERRED

  • Oracle (PeopleSoft) experience a plus

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
