As part of a multidisciplinary project team, the Client Services Associate will focus on addressing customer software requests and troubleshooting issues. The CSA will also contribute to projects that translate customer needs into new products and services.

The Client Services Associate will be an investigator of both client and internally reported issues and inquiries. As an outward facing position, the CSA will be responsible for maintaining a relationship with Apelon's client base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Investigates client inquiries on a daily basis and expedites solutions (e.g. develop and deliver custom trainings, liaise between customer and internal resources).
  • Utilizes technical skills (Java, SQL, etc…) to analyze issues, documenting findings for either the customer or internal resources.
  • Utilizes project management skills to effectively initiate, plan and execute project plans.
  • Plays a supporting role in the authoring and review of user and functional requirements, working with the release manager for both content and product releases.
  • Maintains relationships with current clients and ensure that the client’s needs are being met within the scope of the realistic business analysis.
  • Supports clients with the installation & configuration of Apelon Product & Content Offerings for both clients and internal resources.
  • Performs QA on all content deliverables and product offerings.
  • Advises management on product development issues arising from product problems identified through technical support calls with customers and internal assessments.
  • Trains users on Apelon’s software products.
  • Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher with at least 2 years of technical and/or Apelon product experience.

Communication Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to write technical reports and business correspondence. Associate will present information and respond to questions from management and clients.

Reasoning Ability

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of problems where only limited solutions exist. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form is expected.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Java, SQL, XML, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Windows, Linux, and other web based applications systems. Familiarity of application servers such as JBoss/WildFly, Glassfish and/or WebSphere or the concept of application servers and their role is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
