Primary Purpose of Position
Provide guidance and consultation to Housing and Residence Life staff across a broad range of difficulties and presenting concerns, including the psychological, social, or other challenges that interfere with students’ academic success and/or community well-being. In addition, the in-residence Post-MSW Fellow will be responsible for:
a) Providing support to Housing and Residence Life staff on the implementation and application of residential well-being initiatives, including a well being-self assessment and resiliency program
b)Providing brief, solution-focused support, consultation, and referral to the students’ residents living in the Phase XVI residence hall
c) Providing consultation and outreach activities to the University community, particularly the Resident Advisors and the Residence Education Coordinators of Phase XVI
d) Assisting with the Housing and Residence Life curricular content development related to topics of wellness
e) Co-facilitation, with Housing and Residence Life staff of South Village, of specialized health and well-being programming
f) Staff training for Residence Education Coordinators, focused on student engagement and increasing awareness around the intersectionality of the various dimensions of well-being.
g)Crisis consultation and support to Housing and Residence Life Phase XVI residence coordinators (only)
h) Other responsibilities as assigned by the Associate Director of Social Work Training and Clinical Case Management, the Center of Integrated Care Director, and/or the Residence Life Leadership Team.

Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four-year college or university and one year of program associate experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
