What we expect:
Job duties in clude but are not limited to:
Sorts used linens into appropriate categories for washing.
Sorts out stained or torn linen.
Loads washing machines with the appropriate items for a load .
Weighs all loads and uses the appropriate amount and type of cleaning chemicals for each load.
Moves washed linens to dryers .
Assures that load size and drying time is correct given linen being dried .
Removes linen from driers and delivers it to appropriate area for folding.
Operates and maintains washing and drying equipment .
Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager .
Keeps laundry valet area organized and stocked with needed chemicals.
Pushes or pulls a cart weighing up to 350 pounds for up to 40 feet in one trip .
L ifts piles of wet linen weighing up to 100 pounds out of washer and into dryers .
Lifts piles of dry linen weighing up to 100 pounds and places in cart.
Ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a related job or field.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
